WIN WITH
WORKING PEOPLE

As service industry workers, minimum wage workers, and other members of the working class, we include immigrants, people of color, people with disabilities, women, LGBTQ+, and many more.
We are drowning. We can’t afford to live. The cost of groceries has gone up. The cost of gas has gone up. Our rent has gone up. But you know what’s NOT gone up? Our wages.
We must raise the minimum wage and end the sub-minimum wage for tipped workers.

Service Workers Are The Backbone Of The Economy.
One Fair Wage (OFW) fights for fair wages on behalf of the more than 13.6 million restaurant workers nationwide, including our 300,000 restaurant worker members and over 2500 ‘high road’ restaurant employers. While we focus on advocating for restaurant workers we also advocate for raises for all tipped workers, workers making a subminimum wage, and other low wage service workers.

LA COCINA X OFW
LA COCINA has built an enduring partnership with One Fair Wage in the fight to end all subminimum wages in the U.S. service sector. This partnership has sparked meaningful dialogue and action through nationwide impact screenings and an incredible Times Square Celebration at the NASDAQ Billboard. In collaboration with Andrew Wonder (OH, CANADA) and Destyn Fuller-Hope, we created a campaign video to spotlight the real stories of restaurant workers advocating for dignity and justice.
